Loving Your Body is Moving Your Body

kidrunningEven though Valentine’s Day may be behind us, we hope you still want to show your body some love. Our goal is to help you get healthy and stay healthy for the long run, and we’d like to give you a few tips for showing your body some love.

  1. Get outside and move. Adding simple exercise into your day, like walks, can do wonders for your physical and mental health. While some people claim they don’t have the time to fit anything else into your day, remember that you don’t need to visit the gym to get a good workout in—you can do it from the comfort of your own living room by pulling up an exercise video on YouTube!
  2. Take a break from your phone. Putting your phone down means you won’t be hanging your head while texting or playing the latest trendy app. Forward head carriage, also known as slouching your neck forward, can wreak havoc on your overall posture and spine.
  3. Watch something happy. It’s far too easy to get bogged down by consuming too much news that’s not always pleasant. While keeping up with current events is important, remember to balance your intake with something lighter—try watching a family friendly comedy with your loved ones.
  4. Visit our practice. Did you know that chiropractic care is one of the best things you can do for your body? We’ll help make sure your nervous system remains balanced and functioning well so that you feel your best.
